Social.FM shuts down: one less mobile streaming service August 4th 2008 Im sad to see Social.FM close its virtual doors. This is the music streaming service formerly known as Mercora that weve covered a time or two. In my testing with the service on different Windows Mobile handsets, I found it to meet my needs as a music subscription service. Weve written about Music 2.0 site Social.fm a fair bit in this bulletin in the past - its the company formerly known as Mercora, before it rebranded in September last year.
